The Imperanon

You enter the palace, curious as to what kind of man could rule such a city, in such a remote location.

A golden chandelier shines its glow over a huge room with many marble columns and doors. A man sits behind a big stone desk covered with papers and scrolls. The small, thin man peers up at you from behind thick spectacles.

"Hello there! Welcome to the Imperanon! How may I help you? We have many things to tickle your fancy here... My former Master, the Elder Onaeus, established this palace in the City of Soliath for the benefit of the citizens of the Draconian Empire. There is information on the land of Micarthia, where my former Master hails from, and about the Draconian Empire. My new master Lord Calland, the Duke of Nova Q'lynnesti, Lord Calland rules the entire duchy, and is often away to the capital at Dragonspire for weeks at a time. Lady Velera is the Baroness of Soliath, and she rules the city from her citadel on the other side of town, Castle Peruvia. And last but not least, the other notable who lives here is Derwen, the Hand of Kala, who resides in the Temple of Kala.

The Imperanon is both the palace of Lord Calland, and the chief Temple of Kala (note: "Kala", the "Goddess", and the "Druidic Order" are all references to a fictional diety and priesthood created for the purpose of roleplaying and reading leisure. It is not meant to offend anyone). Within the Imperanon, the Duchy of Nova Q'lynnesti is ruled, and the Druids from around the world are directed from here. It may be far away from the bustle of the Imperial Capital, but from a spiritual viewpoint, It is the center of the world.

So please look around, and enjoy, if you like! Over on that wall, is a map of Elder Onaeus homeland, called Micarthia. If you would prefer to view other lands and faraway mysteries, go to the room of the Palantir but beware its Keeper! If you are of a noble sort, why not visit the Draconian Empire, and perhaps become a citizen of that great land? Second tower to your left, thank you. If you don't wish to leave the Imperanon yet, but still wish to learn more about the Draconian Empire, go to the Scriptorium, where the Druids of Soliath are hard at work. Have a nice day.

Emperor Pyros has rebuilt our ancient capital! Now, anyone can visit Dragonspire Keep . With this in mind, the great sorceror known as the Keeper of the Ancients created a portal to the new Imperial Forum at Dragonspire. We also have another council hall, but one that is very different from the Forum... It is known as the Hall of the Faithful, and it is embedded firmly into the stone of the Temple of Kala. This great gallery is where many of the greatest philosophical discussions of the ages are said, where the timeless literary classics are unveiled, and where the fate of the world is oftimes discussed. This is the Hall of the Druids, so tread carefully there.

A new document has come from the pen of the Emperor himself... finally, the Laws of the Draconian Empire, coalesced into a single document! And another message from Dragonspire Keep contains the ranks and titles available within the Empire. And yet another contains the Awards and Medals of the Empire.

A monumental slab at in the center of the antechamber of the Imperanon commemorates the various Barons of Soliath that have served throughout the years.

Onaeus Q'lyn

Darkar Endymion

Zungar Kalasworn

Micah Nicias

Calland Ladyhawk

Archen Silvertongue

The other side of the slab holds the names of the no less distinguished Dukes of Nova Q'lynnesti, both of whom were once Barons of Soliath:

You can now go on, past the Imperanon, to the Great Temple of Kala that lies atop the city's acropolis. Go in peace.
