You step from the warm temple hall to a cool place smelling faintly of cedar.
You seem to be inside the bulk of a tree... though how you can explain going from the top of a stone tower in the center of a great city into a tree is beyond you.
The room is small but functional; a few desks covered with papers seem to merge with the far wall, beside a door leading farther into the unusual structure. Shelves are carved into the walls, holding volumes of red leather-bound books, labled in some mysterious language.
A young woman walks out of the other room, lithe, blonde and with small spectacles atop her nose. She is clad in a simple brown robe clasped with a brooch made in the insignia of the House of Q'lynnesti- the Tree and the Sun. "May I help you?" she asks in a pleasant voice.
"Not many come here," she continues without waiting for an answer. "I am known as Kendalynn, and I am a Druid in the service of the Soliath Circle. But more importantly, I also serve as the Chief Archivist of the Draconian Empire. I live in Soliath, because no matter what emperor sits on the throne in Dragonspire Keep, The Druidic Circle of Soliath will remain. And as long as there is history to record, I shall exist."
"However, I have but recently been promoted to Chief Archivist; my Lord only recently decided that he needed some little help in recording the histories. I'm afraid he left them in a dreadful mess, so I have only a little here..."
"Currently, I have begun work on compiling the recent history of the Draconian Empire. Feel free to browse my books. Good day!"

This is a biography on the mysterious figure known as the Keeper of the Ancients. |
Here is the Map of the Draconian Empire. It is somewhat large, and some of the names of the cities may be a little different than stated, but it is a good map, though somewhat old.
And here is the new Map of Temmarendil. It is
rough, naturally, and has not been approved by the others in the Druidic
Order. But it is better than nothing at the moment, I suppose.
Stories of Fantasy
This is the part of the Library where stories and legends that have little to do with Temmarendil are placed, so that our people can take flights of fancy away from our troubled world. This is also where unofficial stories are placed, ones that are not approved by the Druidic Order as of yet.
